Silky colours come in similar shades to Ceylon colours. However, Silkies are stunning striated colours which catch the light beautifully. These are more tubular in shape rather than round. Because they are quite crystalline and can be a little sharp, it is recommended that nylon bead thread, Fireline, Tiger tail, memory wire or similar product is used with this type of bead. These are fabulous for knitting with wire. They are light in weight and a little goes a long way.
